چکیده

A critical component of any parallel processing system is the interconnection network that provides communications among the system's processors and memories. The data manipulator (gamma) network family is an important class of multistage in-terconnection networks that is being studied by various researchers. One interesting property of the data manipulator network family is the existence of multiple paths through the network for most source/destination pairs. The condition that must be present to have disjoint paths through the network for a given source/destination pair is shown, where disjoint paths are multiple paths with no links in common. It is derived that the maximum number of disjoint paths for any source/ destination pair is two and a method for finding the routing tags that specify these paths is given. For source/destination pairs that have disjoint paths, a single fault cannot prevent communication between that source/destination pair. The effect of a fault in a given stage of the network on the number of source/ destination pairs that can be connected is also discussed. All results are proven mathematically. o 1990 Academic press, IIIC.

Multipath Node-Disjoint Routing with Backup List Based on the AODV Protocol

In recent years, routing has been the most focused area in ad hoc networks research. On-demand routing in particular, is widely developed in bandwidth constrained mobile wireless ad hoc networks because of its effectiveness and efficiency. Most proposed on-demand routing protocols are built and relied on single route for each data session. Whenever there is a link disconnection on the active ro...

Disjoint Paths in Networks

Networks are prevalent in our daily lives. Our body consists of networks of neurons interconnected by synapses. Our transportation networks enable us to commute between places easily. The Internet, our vast gateway of information, is made up of networks of worldwide computers. The power grid networks provide electricity, without which society (nowadays) might cease to function. Our social netwo...

adaptive control of two-link robot manipulator based on the feedback linearization method and the proposed neural network

This paper proposes an adaptive control method based on the feedback linearization technique and a proposed neural network,  for tracking and position control of an industrial manipulator. At first, it is assumed that the dynamics of the system are known and the control signal is constructed  by the feedback linearization method. Then to eliminate the effects of the uncertainties and external d...
